Within the Church

• Church Personnel Committee
  Deals with matters pertaining to the staff of the church.
• Church Service Committee
  Imagines ways to be of service to the larger community (and world) in carrying out the ministry of compassion and caring for those about us; leads the congregation in mission to the near and far community.
• Christian Education Committee
  In charge of Sunday school, special studies, church retreats, Bible School, and other programs of a educational nature.
• Building and Grounds Committee
  Oversees the matters of maintenance, repair and improvement of the physical plant of the church.
• Worship and Music Committee
  Assists in planning for special worship services and in finding people to preach in my absence; sees to it that the elements for communion are prepared and in place for communion services.
• Fellowship Committee
  Responsible for planning and overseeing fellowship dinners and any other activity or event that would create fellowship opportunities for members of the congregation.
• Resource Committee
  Looks after the finances of the church, oversees the stewardship program, and recommends a church budget to the session.

In the Community

• Habitat for Humanity
  Habitat for Humanity brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing.
• Greensboro Urban Ministries
  Greensboro Urban Ministry meets the emergency needs of more than 30,000 men, women, and children in our community each year. More importantly, they have been able to assist hundreds in breaking the cycle of hunger, homelessness, and poverty.
• Shepherd's Center
  People of all faiths work together in Shepherd's Centers to help older adults sustain and celebrate life.
