Get Involved : Children Programs

Objectives

• Help our children develop a basic understanding of Christian history and teachings.
• Encourage our children's questions and appreciate their ability to see what's real” while also retaining their capacity of wonder and imagination.
• Reassure our children that there is a God they can look to for hope and assistance while not providing rote answers that will impede their future spiritual growth.
• Promote tolerance in our children by celebrating diversity in race, culture, and religion.
• Recognize that the parent’s well being is integral to the growth of the child and work to support parents in the challenge of guiding their children.

One Room Sunday Morning
One Room Sunday Morning is led by the Associate Pastor, Julie Strope. Learning centers connect Bible lessons with the hands-on experience of those gathered. Geared for elementry through Jr. High age children and youth. A nursery is also available for infants.

Summer Camps and Youth Conferences
Summer Camps and Youth Conferences are available through Salem Presbytery and Montreat Conference Center.
